Refund policy
We have a 10-day return policy on notions ONLY, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at simina@essemtextiles.com or rajan@essemtextiles.com . If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Class Cancellation policy: Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 2 weeks prior to the class start date in order to be issued a store credit or a Full Refund. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the class start date will be given a 50% refund and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their payment. Please be sure of your schedule before registering for a class, as we do not send reminders.
Missed Classes: We understand life sometimes gets in the way. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee we will have a make up time for your session. Please let us know at least 24 hours before your start date and we will do our best to schedule a make up time.
If you simply do not show up, you forfeit the class. There are no exceptions. Please check your calendar to ensure you are able to attend all classes in your session. We do not send reminders.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as fabric once it has been cut for you or clothing. In order for you to feel confident in the fabric when placing an order, please get in touch via e-mail if you have questions or concerns about your specific item at simina@essemtextiles.com. We are more than willing to send additional images or videos of fabric to reassure you!
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Notion Exchanges
We exchange notions only. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Clothing/Dress Exchanges
We exchange dresses only within 30 days of the purchase. Please ensure you are happy with your garments when trying them on! Exchanges only permitted when the item is not damaged.
Refunds
Refunds are only issued for classes or damaged notions.
